Instructions
Place the carafe on the hot plate and close the lid of the filter basket. The carafe and filter must be empty.
Empty a PT. of white vinegar in the water tank. Check that the Hamilton Beach Coffee Machine is plugged in.
Turn on the machine. Set a timer for 30 seconds.
Turn the machine off after 30 seconds.
Time the vinegar for 30 minutes and allow it to work. At 30 minutes, turn the machine back on to start the brew cycle. Turn off the machine after the brew cycle is complete.
Empty the pitcher of vinegar and rinse the pitcher with water. Then fill the pitcher with cold water and pour the water into the tank.
Place the empty jar on the hot plate and turn on the machine. Empty the carafe after the brewing cycle is completed. Fill the reservoir with cold water a second time and run the machine for one more cycle.
Turn the machine off. Use hot, soapy water to clean the pitcher and filter by hand. Both are dishwasher safe as well.
