Since many of us are sleep-deprived every morning, having caffeine available to us can be more of a necessity than a luxury. Rather than buying a cup of coffee each morning, consider making it at home with a coffee maker. This will not only save you money, but it will probably save you time by doing an extra run in the morning.
Instructions
1.Read the instructions that come with your particular machine before starting to use it as some machines differ.
2. Clean your machine thoroughly with soap and water before using it if it has been sitting in your cabinet for a while.
3. Fill the coffee machine with enough water to make the amount of coffee you want. You will probably want about three cups of water per person. You can adjust this amount if you drink really large or small cups of coffee. Fill the machine by filling the glass jar with tap water and pouring the water into the machine.
4. Place a coffee filter inside the plastic filter holder. Use a tablespoon to fill the coffee filter with ground coffee beans. For strong coffee, pour 1 tbsp. per 8 ounces of water in the filter. If you like your coffee less strong, pour 1 tbsp. of coffee per 16-ounce cups of water in the filter. It may take you a certain amount of time to figure out how much coffee to use in order to get your desired strength out of a cup of coffee. Close the lid of the coffee machine once you have filled the filter.
5. Turn on the coffee machine and wait for the coffee beers. The machine should beep to let you know that the coffee is finished. It is important not to try to remove the pot while the coffee is brewing, as it will not be as strong as it should be and the coffee will continue to pour out of the flow until it is finished.

Tips and Warnings
Make sure to wait until the machine has cooled down before trying to clean the machine or you might burn yourself from the hot steam. Program your hot coffee machine to start brewing at some point in the morning for you to put in even more time in the morning.
