This model comes from the same brand as the model presented above. As I like to compare the ranges, I wanted to see what the big sister had in the belly! It’s not a disappointing coffee maker, but I found it to be less value for money.
Clearly, this model offers options similar to the little sister, but with a few more balls. Side capacity and heat conservation, are identical on the two models.

I like to buy French when possible, and frankly, this model proposed by Mueller French Press has good arguments! Located on the mid-range, the carafe offers a liter of capacity, which is perfect.
The coffee maker has an automatic end-of-cycle shut-off to save energy, and I never say no to a lower electric bill! The coffee maker offers four hours of keeping warm, it’s frankly not bad.
However, the spout is not ideal, it is a bit technical to pour all the brewed coffee, especially towards the end, without having a few drops here and there. On the design side, the eternal brushed stainless steel that we often find. For me, it is a bit prohibitive.

When we focus on models for their use and not for their functionality, we can stop on this model. The coffee maker only offers automatic shutdown at the end of the cycle. However, no programming possible.
Rather, the real strength of this coffee maker lies in its resistance. The stainless steel is frankly of good quality and it is typically the kind of model that I would take for a vacation rental or to make available somewhere.

To finish my overview, I also gave the mid-range coffee maker from Melitta a chance. The capacity of the coffee maker is larger than the other two models and can make 10 to 15 cups of coffee. For very heavy coffee drinkers or large families, it’s not bad!
On the maintenance side, we are getting closer to the little sister, without the descaling option, but with the possibility of putting the coffee maker in the dishwasher. Perhaps for the price, the option would not have been too much. However, it has an automatic cycle stop.
